Free Photoshop 2014 Christmas Card and Tutorial

You can follow simple few steps to create a shiny brilliant Christmas card for 2014, as follow:

First, you need to create a brand new Photoshop document (cs3, cs4, cs5, or cs6), dimensions must be HD to get final good results, let us use the figures shown in the next image, and save it.

Second, draw a simple Christmas tree in any vector application (illustrator for instance) and import it to your Photoshop file.

Use any golden texture image you have (you can download it from istock or any similar free photos website), import it to your document in a new layer, now you need to hide the layer containing the tree, and press (control+ click) on the layer thumbnail to make section of the tree, now select the golden texture layer and press on the mask button.

Third, find yourself any nice fabric background image, or you can simply picture any fabric you find suitable using your camera, and for sure you need to import it to another layer to your file, this layer will be added behind the previous ones.

Now, we need to write some Christmas words on our cards, and for sure it must have the same golden texture of the tree, so you will use the same technique used with three with another golden layer.

Now you can add your preferred shadowing and retouching to get the final highlight for you Christmas card.

Using Cinema 4D R 12 or 11 you can design simple cubes to get a very exciting Christmas card.
Begin by dropping simple few cubes according to the number of letters you wish to write.
Give every cube a certain shiny material.

Use the text spline to write the word you wish to see in your card.

Use the extrude Nurbe to give your word thickness.

Use a simple disc to create a shiny glassy floor.

Use the sky object or simply use lighting option to get a shiny illumination.

The final step will be to retouch your exported photo in Photoshop or any similar retouching application you would like.

Ten Free Valentine Cards

Ten Free Valentine Cards
Modeled in Cinema 4D R12 and retouching in Photoshop and illustrator CS3.
You can use any 3D studio to model simple objects, such as wedding rings, hearts, hairy objects, or add lighting environment in a manner that can serve the purpose of your design.
In these nice ten Valentine Cards, I depended on Cinema 4D to design the scene, environment, lighting, shaders, materials and perspective view in accordance with the image I see in my mind to the Card. However, Photoshop here plays the vital role in producing the final output in a high quality and smooth layout, customized brushes, effects, blurs, and layer style can be manipulated to serve the designer get a monolithic design. Some of the vector designs are drawn from scratch in Illustrator CS3, but still the final output in Photoshop CS3.

Logos types

 To design a nice logo you need first to define which LOGO type you will produce:

LOGO types can be:
Symbol LOGO
A simple symbol can represent the idea, such as the earth symbol for environmental purposes.

Use an iconic image relative to what you're selling or advertising.

Word Mark 
Easiest type to design, use the brand name as the LOGO hero.

Combination Mark
Combine between brand name and icons or symbols, generally used for kids businesses and for college students.

Letter Mark 
Highlight the letter that can give you the chance to convert to a simple image relative to the company business.
